Tuition Payments
Tuition is on or before the 1st of every month. Any students that attends 2 classes without paying for that month will be asked to sit out of class.

If you are late with a payment (after the 5th of every month), please remember to include the $10 late fee with your tuition. Late fees will not be waived-no exceptions. If your check is returned from the bank, a service charge of $25 must be made out to Groove Nation Hip Hop Dance Academy and the debt must be cleared within 5 business days. No deductions will be made for any reason.

Refunds
After your child has attended 2 classes, no refunds will be issued. This also includes any registration fee, and any merchandise orders.

Make-Up Classes
If your child does not attend class for any reason, including days cancelled due to inclement weather, he or she will be able to attend a class at any location to make-up for the missed class. Missed classes must be made up within the current session. We do not allow make-up classes to be transferred into any other session.

Calendar Holidays (No classes will be held)
> Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Day after
> Christmas Break
> Spring Break  and Summer Break                                 

Classroom and Facility Guidelines (Please ready carefully)

• No gum or food in class   

     
• Please silence your cell phones

• Do not enter another class while class is in progress. Please wait in lobby.

• No running in the facility, horseplay in the parking lot or playing with equipment .

• Belongings should be stored on chairs or in “cubbies”, not on the floor

• No video taping during rehearsals. Occasionally, publicity photos of ourstudents are taken in class and at performances. By submitting the registration form, you are agreeing to grant the right to use any photograph of your child/children in Groove Nation brochures and on our Web site.

• Anyone wishing to observe a class must notify the instructor ahead of time.

Arrival time
Students must be dropped off before class starts and picked up on time. Instructors and/or club owners cannot be held responsible for children not picked up on time.

Behavior
Students are to come to class prepared and ready to learn. This means being respectful to instructors as well as other students and their properties, wearing the appropriate attire for class, and following facility rules. If a student is disruptive, we will follow these procedures:

1. The student will receive a warning.
2. They will be asked to sit out the remainder of the class
3. Parent will be called to pick up their child

Our desire is to make this an enjoyable class for everyone, so we will not tolerate rude behavior.

Dress Code
For Hip Hop Classes

1. Groove Nation T-shirts or tank tops
2. Loosely fitted athletic pants
3. Dance sneakers or non-marking athletic shoes.
4. Recommended: sports bras; knee pads

For Lyrical, Jazz, Technique Classes:

1. Form fitted T-shirts or tank tops
2. Loosely fitted pants or Jazz pants
3. Jazz shoes

Not Acceptable: Pajama bottoms, sandals, or street clothes to class.

Performances (optional)
We put on some of the best shows in town, starring our very own kids along with other Hip Hop Artists. Everyone works very hard during the year, so this is a great opportunity to show off what they have learned. There are some fees associated with this Production, but you will find it to be totally worth it! ( For dance program ONLY)

Showcase Dates: TBA

Costumes: Each song performed will have a different costume, and you will have the option to select which songs you would like to perform in.

Costume fees: range $30-$125 depending on how many songs you participate in. A deposit of $30 will be due 2 months before a show.

Performance fee: is $30 (includes 4 tickets to the show)

In order to participate, students must have attended at least 4 months of classes prior to show and all mandatory dress rehearsals.
